16:12 Conan had to give Kogoro so many 'nudges' for this case since the 'sleepy needle' wouldn't have worked in this one. the key evidence wasn't available/located till the murderer approached his rental.

the thrown can of orange juice was a dual nudge. what was on the label of the can? round. orange. hmm? what's that remind you of? plus Kogoro wears his baseball glove on his left hand too. from that position Kogoro was in, Conan's toss would be easiest to catch left-handed.

you forgot to mention, me too actually, in part 1... 7 year old Conan (by himself) rolls a beefy adult baseball player over from his front to his back SO easily? wow, Conan must work out alot. the writers had to flip the player over on his back to show the journalist knew the guy was dead even though the rain had washed away the blood from the abdominal stab.

I mean he did the same when kogoro questioned his childhood friend who was this actor remember

What a joke this case was. His alibi was invalid the moment he came up with it and if he wasn't after the tennis balls maybe no one would even have thought of them and as Kogoro said, that would only prove he was on the same plane.
He once more self destructed.

Also, I always love it when Kogoro is capable, he can be really cool at time, albeit rarely.

10:15 - Around, eh? He's probably hinting how the culprit did it. Scratch that thing about geography though, I think I have an idea. Let's assume that the Mouri household is in Tokyo. I researched that Miyazaki is way nearer than Okinawa than Tokyo, but because of the schedule of the planes, I think the culprit used this to their advantage. They went to Tokyo late at night, and this is probably why they couldn't have checked out. i mean, it would be suspicious to just use their hotel phone and leave if you were planning to leave late at night, right? So with that, they went with the Tokyo plane, and then we put my reasoning on the inconsistencies that he made.

Thoughts rn: It's a pretty okay case. The trick was pretty easy to discover, and has a really good conclusion.

Also, as long as he stole the balls no one can prove WHEN he touched them even if fingerprints were possible.
